3 color templates are nice to use by Mark Berger

3 color templates - this article describes how they are best used when building a site.

3 color templates. Just like they sound, each template has three colors. But do you know how to best use a 3 color template?

It's easy. Each template comes with three colors that either with repel one another, or blend together - so it's easy to distinguish where to place your menus. For example, some three color templates may have a green left hand side where you can place your left menu. For more help with menus be sure to check out our SSI article.

The middle of the site may contain another color such as blue where you can paste your content, with the right side or top being a different color as well, blending into one another to form the three.

If you're designing a three color site, build the top menu/banner to blend into the content as another color. Then your left menu can run up the side as a totally different color or a blended color as well.

Thanks for reading, and good luck!
